AT of the Year

Due to extraordinary actions by two sets of athletic trainers, the CCCATA has taken the unprecedented step of honoring 4 athletic trainers as Athletic Trainer of the Year.  They will all be honored at the COA/CCCAA Spring Convention on April 1st in Ontario California.  Congratulations to all four of our award winners. Dennis Goebel, long time head athletic trainer at College of the Sequoias was named the NATA College/University Athletic Training Committee Community College Athletic Trainer of the Year.

 

 

Fall Meeting

The fall meeting of the Governing Assembly of the CCCATA will be held in conjunction with the fall meeting of the COA/CCCAA at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine from October 26-29. The CCCATA meeting is tentatively scheduled for Thursday 10/28. Click here for the agenda. While it is a governing assembly meeting, all members are invited and encouraged to attend. The 2010 CATA Scholarship REcipient

for community college students is Beca Ribiero from Diablo Valley College. Beca is currently attending the ATEP at Cal State Fullerton. Congratulations to Beca! Applications for the 2011 scholarship will be available in late fall.
